The Outlander PHEV is equipped with our Super All Wheel Control 4WD system (S-AWC), developed for our iconic rally car the Lancer Evolution, providing responsive roadholding in wet and slippery conditions.

ECO MODE

Choosing ECO mode reduces engine power and sends less energy to the air conditioning system to optimise efficiency. When you’re driving in a town or city when speeds are slow, ECO mode is your best choice.

SPORT MODE

Select SPORT mode when you want to step things up a notch and feel the power and precsion of the Outlander PHEV, with improved acceleration and steering response.

Wet or dry roads

NORMAL MODE

NORMAL mode provides the best balance between fuel efficiency and solid 4WD performance for a variety of typical road conditions and wet weather.

Snow and ice covered roads

SNOW MODE

Outlander PHEV’s dedicated SNOW mode tweaks the 4WD system to provide the best grip on slippery surfaces, providing easier starts and more secure cornering.

LOCK MODE
