MITSUBISHI MOTORS IN THE UK APPOINTS ALEX SHEWARD AS NEW HEAD OF SALES
Mitsubishi Motors in the UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Sheward to the newly created role of Head of Sales, ahead of the upcoming launch of the new Outlander PHEV and L200 Series 7 pick-up in May 2026.
Alex began his automotive career at International Motors Ltd (IML) in 2004, working in several roles across the business and across its portfolio of brands. For the last decade, Alex has been working exclusively for Subaru UK & Ireland as Dealer Relationship Manager and as the brand’s National Sales Manager since 2019. Staying within International Motors Ltd, Alex has taken up his new position with Mitsubishi Motors in the UK officially from April 1, 2026.
Discussing his new role, Alex Sheward said, “Having spent my whole career in the Automotive Industry, the opportunity to lead national sales for a brand with the legacy and dedication that Mitsubishi Motors has was compelling. I look forward to helping to shape a successful sales dealer network and building on the encouraging reception the brand has received.”

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK recently announced its next step in establishing a new UK sales dealer network. The company is currently building a 60-strong dealer partner base to support the sale of the all-new Outlander PHEV and the latest-generation L200 Series 7 double-cab pickup from summer 2026. The addition of new vehicle sales dealers, combined with the existing aftersales network, will provide comprehensive support to customers across key regions throughout the UK.
